Hard cover, large format, English text, 176 pages, 250 black and white photographs plus several color aircraft profiles. Originally flying Spitfires over Britain, France, North Africa and Sicily, the unit converted to Mustangs in mid-1944 and for the remainder war flew bomber escort missions to targets in Italy, France, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Austria, Hungary, Rumania and Yugoslavia. The Group produced 21 aces and destroyed more than 425 enemy aircraft in the air plus many more on the ground. Very nicely done.
