Description
How do you convert a Panther into a pepperpot? Why was a US Navy doctor taking photos of Panzers? What unique emblem was painted on a Jagdtiger? Which Panzer was left outside the monastery at Wiebrechtshausen? What British unit used a Sturmgeschütz as an ARV? The answers to these and other questions are found here in Panzerwrecks 21, with 128 rare and unpublished large-format photographs from around the world.
Lee Archer and top US photo researcher Darren ‘Forgotten Archives‘ Neely team up for Panzerwrecks 21. Expect the usual mix of twisted armour and wreckage all wrapped up in the house style: very high production values, quality paper and binding and five exquisite original artworks from the guru of all things colourful, Felipe Rodna. Felipe’s work is printed as a diptych; an original photograph is shown on the left, and colour artwork on the right, highlighting the fantastic level of detail that Felipe can achieve when printed at full page. Photos are published primarily one per page and sympathetically treated in-house to remove the nasty scratches and things that can spoil your enjoyment of a decent tank photo.
Softcover, 96 pages, 126 black & white photos and 5 color artworks, English text
