Dornier DO-335: An Illustrated History (Schiffer/D. K. H. Regnat). Hard cover, large format, English text, 208 pages, 240 black and white photographs. Developed by Dornier in 1943 as a heavy fighter, this aircraft was one of the last high-performance piston engined aircraft ever designed. Although the aircraft represented the apex of propeller-driven designs it never saw service. This is a very nice review of the development of the aircraft and the text is well supplemented by excellent photographs. Recommended.
