Hard cover, large format, English text, 281 pages and hundreds of black and white photographs (many of which have apparently never before been published) with extensive captions, 10 pages of color artwork of varying quality, 14 pages of line drawing aircraft profiles and plan views and several interesting appendices listing Russian aircraft production numbers in WW I, and the numbers of various types of German aircraft delivered during the inter-war period. This volume picks up where the first leaves off and covers numerous military aircraft acquired by the Soviets and their influence on Soviet military aircraft design. The color artwork and line drawings included in this second volume cover many of the aircraft dealt with in both volumes.
